Setting Fall Intentions: Send a Postcard

Something about fall makes us want to slow down, take a breath, and think about what we want the next season to look like. As the weather begins to change and the days gradually become shorter, the Fall Equinox offers a natural moment to pause and set a few new intentions.

Maybe this is the season you want to spend more time outside, read more books, or finally tackle that creative project you have been thinking about. Or perhaps your fall intention can be as simple as staying connected with the people you care about.

This fall, consider making letter writing and postcard writing part of your routine.

A Little Note Can Go a Long Way

In a world filled with texts, emails, and social media messages, receiving something handwritten in the mail feels special. A postcard does not require a long letter or a perfectly crafted message. In fact, that is part of its charm.

A quick “thank you,” “thinking of you,” or “wish you were here” can be enough. A few handwritten words on a beautiful postcard can brighten someone's day and create a tangible reminder that they are on your mind.

And postcards are wonderfully simple. They are quick to write, easy to send, and postcard stamps cost less than standard first-class letter stamps. There is really no reason not to send one.
